How are the sessions presented

  • Use a variety of instruction/discussion methods, based on the assumption that the essence of the process is a peer-to-peer learning process which will stimulate reflection and discussion.

  • Convey international experience and comparisons, some frameworks for examining Board role and Board issues through lecture/discussion.

  • Put participants into discussion/role-playing mode through the use of relevant and current cases.

  • Open discussion will be enhanced by the use of small group work/discussion.

  • Trigger an experience and perspective sharing introduction by the invited key note speakers.

  • High caliber faculty from across the world share their knowledge and expertise in the competency areas.

  • Session content is current, relevant and practical, building on the knowledge and experience of participants

  • Content will be explored from a global perspective while examining issues specific to Malaysia, focusing on the challenges facing the Malaysian Financial Institutions.
